- The os centrale carpi is a developmental accessory bone situated on the dorsal side of the scaphoid, near its ulnodistal region. It typically forms articulations with the scaphoid, trapezoid, and capitate.
- The os epitrapezium is a sesamoid accessory bone embedded within the tendon of the abductor pollicis longus, usually in the region of the trapezium.
